Kurt Vonnegut dies at 84

Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. dies at age 84

He was one of my favorite authors. His novels are pretty good, but oh how I love his short stories! Especially “Harrison Bergeron” and “Welcome to the Monkey House”.

God Bless You, Mr. Vonnegut. I hope “everything was beautiful, and nothing hurt.”

  1. My very favourite quote was (I’m paraphrasing as I can’t remember the exact line off the top of my head);

    ” True terror is to wake up one morning and discover that your high school class is running the country.”

    Guess I’m getting old.
